This Quarter's Watercolor Classes

This quarter, Kay will focus on color mixing and characteristics of color even more than before. Click
HERE for a full class description. Subject matter is up to the individual student. Bring your cameras to class, the Eden Gallery garden is luscious and the new waterfall is complete. You always have the option of working outside and it is truly a paradise here.

Classes are taught quarterly. They are ten weeks long, and were developed to help beginning and intermediate level students master the fundamentals of watercolor. Advanced students can learn new techniques and benefit enormously from Kay's critiques. If you are unable to sign up for a full quarter, you can join a class at any time and pay as you go. Please call first to check on the space availability for the class you are interested in.

Among the materials covered are:

  • Planning a painting
  • Principles of design
  • Self-critique
  • Creative problem solving
